At Mystic Shipyard, our rigging department is highly trusted by both day sailors and competitive racers. We fully service all rigging components on some of the top sailing vessels in the region, including spar modifications, furling systems, lifelines, electronics and complete mast and rigging replacements.
We produce rigging in-house using a state-of-the-art hydraulic swage machine, ensuring consistent quality and fit.
Our climate-controlled rigging shop allows spars and rigging to be stored and serviced indoors, protected from the elements. Our team is hard at work all winter long, inspecting and servicing all rigging components to ensure every rig is stepped and ready to go on schedule.

At Mystic Shipyard, all mast and rigs are stored in a climate-controlled indoor facility, protected from moisture, temperature swings, and winter weather. Our team is able to inspect and service every rig in proper weather condition without interruption. The result is accurate service and setup before stepping in the spring.

Our hydraulic swage machine allows us to produce rigging assemblies in-house with consistent, repeatable accuracy. Each stay is measured and built to the specific dimensions of the boat, ensuring proper fit and load distribution across the rig. This process reduces variability compared to off-site fabrication and allows adjustments to be made during installation if needed.
