Premier craftsmanship has defined Mystic Shipyard for nearly 200 years. Our legacy started building schooners over 200 feet long, and it continues today as we care for some of the region’s finest vessels. Our service department spans across all marine trades and our facilities are equipped to handle the most technical of projects.


At MSY, each team member is hand-selected for their craftsmanship, keen eye for detail, and dedication to bringing high-end projects to life. Our crew is made up of factory-trained mechanics, premier paint and fiberglass specialists, a highly reputable rigging department, professional shipwrights and trusted boat handlers. We have developed partnerships with highly sought after specialists, who we utilize for certain projects. We look after your boat as a team, ensuring that every project is completed with the level of care we’d show our own vessels. 

To work on today’s sophisticated marine systems, our technicians have a strong foundation and receive ongoing education that keeps them ahead of the curve. We make sure our team is armed with the latest knowledge to excel in every situation.

All of our work adheres to the strict set of safety guidelines set forth by the American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) – the gold standard for boat construction, maintenance and repair.
