General

We are located on the west side of the Mystic River, just south of all bridges for easy access to Long Island Sound.
We are less than a mile from downtown Mystic, making it an easy walk or short dinghy ride to town.
We offer slip space for vessels up to 60 feet, with hauling capabilities up to 80 ft, 19 ft beam, and 50 tons.
Yes, Mystic Shipyard has an additional East Yard, located just across the river and south of all bridges, offering additional slips and storage there. We are also under the same ownership as Noank Village Boatyard, located just just south of us.
We offer a complete boating experience, with world-class service coupled with pristine facilities and a riverside pool. We are proudly family-owned and operated, and we aim to keep a family atmosphere throughout all aspects of the Shipyard.
Mystic Shipyard is a family-owned marina, owned by the Helbig family. A family with generations of ties to the local community, they founded Noank Village Boatyard in 1972 and have since purchased Mystic Shipyard.

Yes, we offer both seasonal dockage and transient slips for visiting boaters.
All slips come with water and complimentary Wi-Fi, and 30/50A 120V shore power is available as well.
Yes, we have indoor winter storage available. Outdoor storage is also available.

We offer service in all marine trades, including mechanical, electrical, rigging, paint, fiberglass, shipwright, and general marina services. When specialty work comes up, we partner with the region’s top specialists to ensure every job is done to the highest standard.
Yes, we are authorized dealers for Mercury, Yamaha, and Yanmar, with factory-trained technicians. All of our certified service uses genuine parts and factory-specified practices.
Yes, our team has decades of experience managing large refits, with all of our trades working together to complete extensive projects.
Yes, our team operates year round, from commissioning, winterization, winter projects, to summer service.
No, we are a full-service marina and our team manages and performs all service work. There may be exceptions which must be communicated with our service manager. Our East Yard does offer more DIY options, but certain services must be approved by management for safety reasons.

Yes, we keep our grounds and facilities clean to resort-level standards. Our marina is full of colorful flower planters designed to feel like home. We have also been a long-certified Clean Marina through Connecticut DEEP.
We have a private riverside pool, serviced daily for family fun. Our newly renovated washrooms are second-to-none and Mystic Yachting Club gives the yard classic nautical charm and can be used for events and weddings.
